About the Event
The event aims to raise awareness of mental health within the scope of World Mental Health Day and the 2026 theme, “Listening to Lived Experiences: Real Voices, Real Change.” It seeks to increase students’ awareness of mental health and strengthen social sensitivity toward mental health issues.
With the active participation of students, awareness activities will be carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Çankırı State Hospital. These activities will include an awareness board, an awareness stand, a green ribbon awareness activity, and interactive participation areas. Informative materials will address the importance of mental health, coping with stress, seeking psychological support, reducing stigma, and accessing support resources.
Content and Details
A World Mental Health Day event entitled “Listening to Lived Experiences: Real Voices, Real Change” will be organized by Prof. Dr. Satı DİL and Asst. Prof. Tuğba YILDIRIM from the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Çankırı Karatekin University, in collaboration with Çankırı State Hospital.
With the active participation of third-year Nursing students, awareness activities including an awareness board, awareness stand, and green ribbon activity will be carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Çankırı State Hospital.
