Nursing is an applied health discipline based on scientific knowledge. It has multifaceted responsibilities and roles such as education, research, management and leadership in meeting the care needs of individuals, families and society. In this context, training nurses who will provide services focused on protecting, developing and sustaining human health is essential for effective, safe and quality care delivery.

As Çankırı Karatekin University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department, which aims to train qualified nurses, our mission is to train nurses who are sensitive to the values of individuals, families and society, respectful of patient rights, believe in the importance of ethical values, can diagnose and evaluate, are inquisitive, entrepreneurial, have problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills, are self-confident and can provide national and international quality care.
