PO1: Have the knowledge, attitude and skills to fulfill nursing duties, authorities, roles and responsibilities.
PO2: Apply the nursing process using evidence-based information in professional practices.
PO3: Use education, management, implementation, leadership, consultancy and research skills in nursing practices.
PO4: Use informatics, innovation and care technologies in nursing practice, education, management and research.
PO5: Manage nursing care in crisis situations affecting global health.
PO6: Continue professional and individual development by embracing lifelong learning.
PO7: Collaborate effectively with individuals and team members using basic communication skills.
PO8: Follow developments in the field of nursing using a foreign language and reflect them in their professional practices.
PO9: Manages nursing care with a holistic approach in accordance with professional values, ethical principles and relevant legislation.

2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR NURSING DEPARTMENT EDUCATION PROGRAM OUTCOMES (P0)*

P01: Uses the nursing process to determine, plan, implement and evaluate the results of nursing care needs of healthy or sick individuals in changing situations.
P02: Takes an active role in the necessary nursing education, management, implementation, consultancy and research to improve the health level of the society.
P03: Can use the statistics, computer, information and communication technologies required by the profession.
P04: Practices the profession by combining social aspects, communication, critical thinking, academic and research skills, creativity and entrepreneurship.
P05: Develops sufficient foreign language knowledge and skills to be able to follow and use scientific knowledge, innovations and developments in the field of health.
P06: Knows professional ethical values and carries out nursing care and practices in line with these values.
P07: Communicates effectively with patients/healthy individuals, families and team members in therapeutic environments using professional communication and interpersonal skills.

P08: Has the ability to select and use the necessary technical tools and equipment for nursing practices.

P09: Uses effective written and verbal expression skills in providing nursing services in a knowledge-based, rational and systematic manner.

P010: Is sensitive to all kinds of bio-psycho-social-cultural changes and developments that may affect people and human health; takes into account the holistic approach in the health care services provided.
