About the Event
The purpose of the event; Within the scope of the "HEM353 Disadvantaged Groups and Nursing Approaches" course, the aim is to convey nursing approaches to detainees and convicts, one of the disadvantaged groups of society, and field practice experiences in the prison environment, to 3rd year Nursing students with the transfers of an invited prison nurse.
Content and Details
The event focuses on health organization in penal institutions and the role of the prison nurse; It includes an interactive conversation based on concrete examples from the field in the context of the management of chronic diseases, mental health and special needs of detainees and convicts.
