ONCOLOGY NURSING CONGRESS

The 7th International 8th National Oncology Nursing Congress, organized in collaboration with Gülhane Faculty of Nursing, Health Sciences University, Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital, and Ankara Hematology and Oncology Association, was held at the Ankara İller Bankası Social Facilities between November 26-28, 2025. Faculty members from the Nursing Department, Dr. Seher GÖNEN ŞENTÜRK, Dr. Aslı TOK ÖZEN, Dr. Müjgan ONARICI, and Research Assistant Dr. Damla AMASYA, participated in the congress. Furthermore, Dr. Seher GÖNEN ŞENTÜRK and Research Assistant Dr. Damla AMASYA served on the Congress Organizing Committee. Faculty member Müjgan ONARICI chaired scientific sessions.

At the congress, Research Assistant Dr. Damla AMASYA received the 3rd place award for Poster Presentation, Dr. Lecturer Aslı TOK ÖZEN received the 3rd place award for Descriptive Study Oral Presentation, and Dr. Lecturer Gülsüm ÇONOĞLU received the 2nd place award for Experimental Study Oral Presentation. Additionally, Betül YALÇIN, Head of Health Care Services at Çankırı State Hospital, and Dr. Lecturer Özlem BULANTEKİN DÜZALAN from Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University also received the 2nd place award for Descriptive Study Oral Presentation.
